The Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies\Machinery Program has been continuing education since 1997. There are 2 Associate Professors and 1 Lecturer working in the program.

The goal of this program is to train our students as technical personnel who will have knowledge and skills in traditional manufacturing methods, design techniques, material selection, computerized design and computerized production methods, will be able to choose the most appropriate production method, will know and apply machining and chipless production methods and computerized design and production methods and will be able to follow the developments.

There is also a laboratory used by the Machinery Program in our Vocational School. In this laboratory, students can write the program in CNC programming language for the drawings they have made using design programs in a computer environment and produce them on CNC machines.

Graduates of the Machinery Program have the opportunity to find jobs in a wide range of fields such as design, manufacturing, CNC and machine tools, machinery and metal industry, automotive sector, welding, robotic systems, work machines and white goods in factories and businesses. With the Vertical Transfer Exam, there is the right to register in many departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Marine Engineering.

Our students who complete a two-year associate degree program earn the title of “Mechanical Technician”.
